This course is ideal for those seeking a career as an employed/self-employed junior barber.

This qualification is based on the Level 2 Barbering National Occupational Standards (NOS) and is recognised by the UK’s leading professional association (The British Barbering Association – BBA) as being fit for purpose for preparing learners for a career as a junior barber.

Upon completion of this course, you are eligible to become a State Registered Graduate Barber (SRB) with The Hairdressing Council.

This course takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm and Fridays from 9.30am to 4pm.

Requirements

You will need to have achieved a Level 1 qualification in hairdressing or barbering and/or a successful skills test and interview.

You will need to be aged 19+ to apply for this course.

You may also choose to further develop your knowledge and skills by undertaking Barbering Level 3.
