This course is designed for Early Years practitioners who work (or would like to work) supporting learners with SEND in a voluntary, private or independent setting. This course will increase confidence in relation to leadership and management progression. You will learn how to enable the best outcomes for children and their families, how to liaise with other professionals and how to undertake research for improved outcomes.
You need to be working within a setting in order to undertake this course.
In addition to the formal lessons, individual tutorials and careers advice sessions are held with you throughout the course.
You can progress on to a range of other qualifications at Level 4 or above.

Requirements
A sufficient understanding of maths and English Language is needed to cope with the demands of the course. All students will undertake diagnostic assessment to assess these skills during the course interview or induction process and you will be required to demonstrate that you can work at Level 4.
Assessment
Formative assessment will take place throughout the course with a final portfolio of evidence produced at the end. There are no examinations on this course.
