The aim of this qualification is to enable learners to understand the importance of healthy living, mental health and healthy eating. The course will also cover the principles of physical activity for health.
In addition to the formal lessons, individual tutorials and careers advice sessions are held with you throughout the course.

Requirements
A sufficient understanding of maths and English Language is needed to cope with the demands of the course. All students will undertake diagnostic assessment to assess these skills during the course interview or induction process and you will be required to demonstrate that you can work at Entry Level 3.
Assessment
Formative assessment will take place throughout the course with a final multiple choice test at the end of the course.
Progression
You can progress on to a range of other qualifications at Level 1 or above.
