This course is designed for students to learn about cybercrime. You will develop an understanding of routine protective methods used to maintain cybersecurity including the principles of vulnerability and penetration testing and user access control.
This is a one-unit course. 

In addition to the formal lessons, individual tutorials and careers advice sessions are held with you throughout the course. 

You can progress on to a range of other qualifications at Level 1 or above.

Requirements

A sufficient understanding of maths and English Language is needed to cope with the demands of the course. All students will undertake diagnostic assessment to assess these skills during the course interview or induction process and you will be required to demonstrate that you can work at level 1.  

Assessment

Formative assessment will take place throughout the course with a final portfolio of work being completed by the end of the course. There are no exams for this course.
