Are you interested in developing an understanding of how to effectively help other people, would you like to understand the causes of stress and how to prevent or reduce stress? Would you like to be more aware of different types of mental health conditions?
Courses available:
- Level 1 Award in Stress Awareness (starts in March)
- Level 2 Award in Helping Skills (starts in April)
- Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness (starts in May)
All of these courses are available online and there are no exams. You can pick to study all three or select the specific course from the list.

Requirements
The course will use Microsoft Teams, students will need a camera/mic facility.
Assessment
There will be workbooks to complete and can be submitted digitally OR can pick up and drop off hard copies at either of our campuses.
Progression
You can prepare to progress into a role in which helping skills are used and be ready to take on qualifications at a higher level, (including our Foundation degree in Social Welfare, Advice & Guidance or the Foundation Degree in Additional Support Needs) by taking one or more of the above qualifications.
