This course is designed for students looking to develop psychology knowledge and skills. Units will cover how to apply psychological concepts to a range of situations as well as teach you how to define and illustrate these concepts. This will include cognitive, developmental and social psychology.
In addition to the formal lessons, individual tutorials and careers advice sessions are held with you throughout the course.
You can progress on to a range of other qualifications including Access to HE programmes.

Requirements
A sufficient understanding of maths and English Language is needed to cope with the demands of the course. All students will undertake diagnostic assessment to assess these skills during the course interview or induction process and you will be required to demonstrate that you can work at Level 2.
Assessment
Formative assessment will take place throughout the course with a final portfolio of evidence produced at the end. There are no examinations on this course.
