The Level 3 Diploma for Working in the Early Years Sector is a fully accredited qualification and on completion provides you with a license to practice to work with children from birth to five years and gain knowledge of children aged five to seven years.

It is delivered remotely through an e-portfolio and monthly online Microsoft Teams meetings with an assessor throughout the 18 month duration of the qualification, along with visits from your assessor to gain evidence of working professional practice.

You will complete 10 mandatory units themed around health and wellbeing, legislation, frameworks and professional practice and play, development and learning for school readiness.

  • Practitioner in reception classes in primary schools
  • Pre-school worker.

This course costs £2882. Funding may be available for those who do not hold a full Level 3 qualification or who are in receipt of benefits or on low income. Requirements

You will be required to complete a pre-enrolment written assessment of a piece of coursework.

Assessment

You will be continually assessed throughout your programme. There are no exams.
