The aim of this qualification is to enable learners to develop on their understanding of basic photographic processes and will also allow learners to understand how to manipulate images.
Units you may study include:
- Using a camera to capture creative images
- Digital image manipulation
In addition to the formal lessons, individual tutorials and careers advice sessions are held with you throughout the course.
Requirements
A sufficient understanding of maths and English Language is needed to cope with the demands of the course. All students will undertake diagnostic assessment to assess these skills during the course interview or induction process and you will be required to demonstrate that you can work at Level 1.
Assessment
Formative assessment will take place throughout the course with a final portfolio of imagery being completed by the end of the course.
Progression
You can progress on to a range of other qualifications at Level 1 or above.
