This course will be delivered at Lowestoft Sixth Form College, based on the East Coast College Lowestoft campus.

Our T Level in Content Creation and Production will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue an exciting career behind the camera. Using our industry-standard television, camera and recording studios, you will immerse yourself in the world of media and develop first-hand experience as you work towards your chosen career. You will be able to produce high quality and professional media products for a range of purposes and audiences.
You will also explore a diverse range of topics connected with the media, broadcast and production sector including the creative economy, cultural context and vocabulary, audience and consumer needs, legal and regulatory requirements and research skills.
Then you will be able to put everything you learn into practice, with a substantial industry placement of a minimum of 315 hours. This will give you an amazing opportunity to work within the media, broadcast and production sector, gaining invaluable experience as well as key skills that employers are looking for.

Requirements
You will need to have achieved five GCSEs at grade 4 and above including English, maths and media.
Progression
Following a T Level, you could progress straight into a skilled profession or continue your studies with a degree or higher apprenticeship.
