You will also explore environmentally sustainable plumbing systems such as heat pumps, with our teaching staff qualified to the latest specifications.

For Level 2 entry, you will need to have achieved a grade 4 or above in English and maths.

These entry grades are set as a guide, however we encourage students who are interested in this course and unsure of the grades they will achieve to submit an application and come along for a discussion with the course lecturer to assess your suitability.

Assessment

Assessment will be predominately through practical tasks in the workshop.

Progression

You can progress onto an apprenticeship or move straight into employment in careers such as a plumber, renewable energy engineer or gas and oil engineer.

Many of our former students have also gone onto start up their own businesses and take on apprentices of their own to continue training plumbers of the future.
