Suffolk-based project ‘Thrive’ is a personal development service that gives adults and young people in Suffolk the tailored support and skills that they need to take a first step into employment, education or training.

Thrive services are free of charge, and we have dedicated Job/Progression Coaches to help you pave the way to a successful career.

The Job/Progression Coaches for East Coast College and East Suffolk area are as follows:

  • Nicola – Focuses on supporting adults (aged 25+).
  • Charlotte – Focuses on supporting young people (aged 16-24).
  • Eleanor – Focuses on supporting both adults and young people.

Our job coaches can be contacted through Thrive@eastcoast.ac.uk.

We can provide support and guidance in:

  • CV writing and interview skills,
  • Career options, job searching and additional training needs,
  • Advice on benefits and housing,
  • Funded training or work experience,
  • Friendly support events.
  • Confidence building and mentoring

The Thrive project’s goals and motives are to offer help and support (to anyone aged 16 and upwards) in any way we can. This may be anything from applying for jobs or researching further education, or training options.
